The ground floor windows in this cottage were single glazed leading to heat loss and condensation.

The timber windows themselves were in good order so the answer was to replace the single glazing with 12mm Heritage double gazed sealed units.

The Heritage units fitted within the existing rebates and were finished off using Hodgsons Heritage putty, in line with the sealed unit manufacturers instruction.

The results are amazing with no more condensation and vastly reduced heat loss and all at a fraction of the cost to replace the windows throughout!
